In a distressing incident, Catelyn Sparks, the mother of YG's child, was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in the unfortunate passing of an 89-year-old woman.
According to law enforcement sources, the incident took place in Los Angeles on Wednesday. It was revealed that Sparks was operating her 2023 Tesla when the collision occurred. The other woman, who was driving a 1985 Cadillac, made a U-turn directly in front of Catelyn's vehicle, leading to a collision with the driver-side door.
Regrettably, the 89-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene, while Catelyn Sparks sustained minor injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
According to information provided by our law enforcement sources, Catelyn's involvement in the accident was not a result of criminal activity, and there were no drugs or alcohol involved. The crash was determined to be purely accidental.
As for the status of YG and Catelyn's relationship, it remains somewhat unclear. Although they share two children, their relationship has experienced its fair share of ups and downs. In May, the rapper YG was spotted on a romantic getaway with Saweetie in Cabo, where they were seen sharing affectionate moments, including locking lips in the pool.
Shortly after the photos became public, Catelyn posted a cryptic message on social media, expressing, "Just because we got the same blood don't make us family, and just because we got kids don't make us family. Because with 'family' like mine? I'd rather not have any."
